How long will it take to receive my order?
It depends. I offer ready to ship items in my Etsy shop, so the order goes out within a day or two. Since most of my work is made to order, it can take about 2-3 weeks to receive your order. Custom work will take longer. If you are looking to purchase an item for a specific date, please email me before you place your order to check on availability and time frame.

Do you make it all yourself?
Yes! I'm a one woman operation here. I design and make every single piece of jewelry in my studio. I work from sketches first. Once I know what I want, I then begin the model process. I either hand carve my design in wax to be cast or construct it in metal. Then I send it off to my caster. Casting is the only process I don't do myself. Once a model is made and pieces are cast, I do all the assembling and hand finishing. I also create one of a kind pieces.

What materials do you use?
I mainly work in sterling silver (ss), and also in gold, copper and bronze. I'm fond of semi-precious stones, resin and crystals. I support companies that source socially conscious and environmentally friendly metals and stones whenever possible. I use a limited amount of pearls. Once I run out of my current stock, I will be switching to cruelty free man made pearls. I also use faux leather cord.

Do you do engraving?
Not personally. My large and medium banner necklaces require hand engraving, a beautiful art form in itself. I job these out to a wonderfully talented hand engraver in Virginia. I also use a company in NYC. My small banner can be machine engraved. I can take it to a local shop or you may take it to a trusted jeweler in your neck of the woods. Prices vary.

What if I need something adjusted?
I can help you out here. Chain lengths can be shortened or lengthened. Please contact me before ordering. Additional charges may apply. If you'd like a different stone or resin color than the one listed, contact me for availability. Additional charges may apply.

Rings are a little trickier. Know your size? Great! If you don't know your ring size, I highly recommend getting sized by a reputable jeweler in your area. If that's not an  option (it's a surprise gift for someone) we can discuss some tricky ways to find out. Otherwise, I will resize most of my rings for free the first time. After that, a small resizing fee will be charged.

What are those little marks/ stamps on my jewelry?
I stamp all my jewelry with my personal hallmark and with either .925 (sterling silver)
or 14k (14k gold)

Do you gift wrap?
All my jewelry arrives carefully nestled in my signature purple and silver gift box.
Perfect for storing your items or for gift giving. I will gladly include a personalized card with your order if shipping as a gift.

How do I care for my kick ass jewelry?
Glad you asked! Wear it, wear it, wear it! Store sterling silver in an air tight zip lock bag when not wearing to help prevent oxidation. Stones and resin can get scratched with wear. Keep all resin pieces away from solvents like nail polish removers, heavy duty cleansers, abrasives, paint thinners, etc. Nicks and scratches are bound to happen with lots of wear. It's part of the natural life of jewelry. Since I oxidize many of my pieces, I do not recommend using those dip cleaners. They'll take out all the oxidation and can leave your piece looking yellow or dull in those places. Use a polishing cloth or lightly scrub your jewelry with a soft toothbrush dipped in warm sudsy water. Dish soap works well. I also recommend this method for cleaning lotions and gunk from behind the stones of your rings.
