1) How long will it take to receive my order?
It depends. I offer ready to ship items on my Etsy shop, so the order goes out within a day or two. You can call one of the shops that carries my work and if it's in stock they'll ship to you as well. Otherwise it can take anywhere from 1- 4 weeks. Most of my work is made to order so if you need something by a certain date, please let me know up front. If it's something I have in studio, I can get it out to you within a week or two. If not, I'll have to order supplies or castings, which adds time. I'll do my best to give you an estimated ship date.
2) Do you make it all yourself?
Yes, I design every single piece of jewelry I make. I work from sketches first. Once I know what I want, I then begin the model process. I either hand carve my design in wax or construct it in metal. This becomes the model. Then I send it out to my caster. This is the one process I don't do. Once a model is made and pieces are cast, I do all the assembling and hand finishing in my studio. I also create one offs in wax and also in metal.
3) What materials do you use?
I use sterling silver (ss), gold (14k mostly), and semi-precious stones. I support companies that source socially conscious and environmentally friendly metals and stones whenever possible. I use a limited amount of pearls. Once I run out of my current stock, I will be switching to cruelty free man made pearls exclusively. I also use faux leather cord.
